Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team and play a vital role in helping residents regain mobility, strength, and independence. In this role, you will work closely with the Physical Therapist to implement individualized treatment plans and support residents in achieving meaningful functional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Physical Therapist in delivering individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence
• Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions in accordance with established care plans and clinical guidelines
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, or changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist in developing and progressing fitness, mobility, and wellness programs tailored to each patient’s specific needs and goals
• Promote safe, effective rehabilitation techniques that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process to achieve optimal outcomes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and strategies to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all treatments and patient interactions
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current, active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Wyoming, in good standing
• Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Strong understanding of physical therapy practices, treatment techniques, and rehabilitation principles
• Ability to effectively engage and work with patients of varying personalities, diagnoses, and functional levels
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
• Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic
• Commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and clinical excellence
