Key Responsibilities
- Support the Physical Therapist in delivering individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence
- Implement therapeutic exercises and interventions in accordance with established care plans and clinical guidelines
- Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, or changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist in developing and progressing fitness, mobility, and wellness programs tailored to each patient’s specific needs and goals
- Promote safe, effective rehabilitation techniques that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Encourage and motivate patients throughout the rehabilitation process to achieve optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and strategies to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all treatments and patient interactions
- Contribute to a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
- Current, active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Wyoming, in good standing
- Associate’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong understanding of physical therapy practices, treatment techniques, and rehabilitation principles
- Ability to effectively engage and work with patients of varying personalities, diagnoses, and functional levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and a strong work ethic
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional growth, and clinical excellence
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented healthcare environment
