Polaris Rehab is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a leadership capacity while providing direct patient care. As an RN, you will oversee nursing services on your shift, guide support staff, and ensure residents receive high-quality, individualized care.
You’ll play a key role in clinical decision-making, care coordination, and maintaining a safe, compassionate environment for residents and their families.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide and oversee nursing care in accordance with care plans, physician directives, and clinical standards
- Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- Supervise and support CNAs and other nursing staff during assigned shifts
- Educate residents and families on care plans and health-related topics
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
- Support infection control, safety, and quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to urgent or emergency situations using sound clinical judgment
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wyoming, in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Leadership experience or ability to supervise staff effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
