Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Dietary Aide to join our team and support the nutritional needs of our residents. In this role, you will play an important part in delivering a positive dining experience by assisting with meal preparation, service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of meals, snacks, and beverages in accordance with established menus and dietary guidelines
- Serve meals to residents while ensuring proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards are followed
- Set up and break down dining areas, ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including dishwashing and general sanitation tasks
- Follow all facility procedures, dietary guidelines, and state and federal regulations
- Assist with monitoring and maintaining inventory of food supplies and kitchen items
- Support residents during meal service, including assisting with feeding when appropriate
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and care teams to ensure residents’ dietary needs are met
- Participate in nutrition-related programs or initiatives as needed
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate service to residents and interact respectfully with families and team members
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Attention to detail with the ability to follow dietary instructions, meal plans, and recipes accurately
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to established procedures and safety standards
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform tasks related to food preparation and service
- Dependable, organized, and able to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in food service or healthcare dietary setting preferred, but not required
