High School Education
1 year experience preferred
If no experience, will need to successfully complete on-the-job training program.
TRAINING
Previous experience or successfully completed on-the-job training
All OSHA mandated safety training
Cross-trained in another job
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Follow instructions from order, print or program to complete setup and run workpiece.
- Indicate parts to ensure accuracy.
- Verify part accuracy with appropriate gages to part print and/or engineering standards.
- Debur parts.
- Uses calibrated equipment to verify measuring devices.
- Move parts to next operation (ref. process flowchart)
- Maintain setup arbors, bushings and backing plates.
- Change tooling regularly to ensure optimum machining conditions.
- Maintain schedule integrity.
- Perform required daily maintenance on equipment.
- Keep machine and work area clean and organized.
