Job Summary
Adam’s Pizza House is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Pizza & Grinder Associate to support daily food preparation and restaurant service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable preparing pizzas, grinders, and related menu items while maintaining consistent food quality, cleanliness, and efficient service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas, grinders, sandwiches, and other menu items according to established recipes.
- Prepare dough, sauces, cheeses, meats, vegetables, and other ingredients for daily service.
- Assemble pizzas and grinders accurately according to customer orders.
- Operate ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent food quality.
- Verify completed orders for accuracy, presentation, and completeness.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked preparation stations.
- Restock ingredients, packaging, utensils, and other kitchen supplies as needed.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members.
- Process customer orders and assist with POS transactions when required.
- Respond to customer requests and service needs professionally.
- Assist with cleaning kitchen equipment, counters, workstations, and dining areas.
- Support opening, closing, and routine restaurant procedures.
- Assist other team members during busy service periods to maintain efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in pizza preparation, sandwich/grinder service, food service, or a restaurant environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and commercial kitchen practices.
- Ability to safely operate ovens and other restaurant equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
