The Team You Will Be Joining

- Determine eligibility for new, recertification, and self-attestation applications for the TXHIV Medication Program, reviewing HIV documentation, financial status, Texas residency, and insurance information.
- Issue initial approvals, denials, or incomplete determinations, and escalate special exceptions or appeals to the Regional Coordinator.
- Draft and send determination letters to applicants and Community ADAP Enrollment Workers.
- Enter and update all eligibility data in the THMP database, documenting decisions and demographic updates.
- Support the Regional Coordinator in developing and maintaining eligibility guidelines, applications, and screening processes, ensuring compliance with Ryan White payer-of-last-resort requirements.
- Review regional policies annually, prepare recommended changes, and contribute to program planning, development, and evaluation.
- Compile, analyze, and report statistical data for eligibility projections, productivity, quality improvement, and research.
- Participate in THMP Quality Management activities and help develop data collection and analysis tools.
- Serve as a liaison to local ADAP Enrollment Workers, providing guidance on application processes and requirements.
- Assist with outreach, training, workshops, and cross-training of staff within the region.
- Experience reviewing and verifying eligibility documentation such as income, residency, medical status, and insurance information.
- Background in case management, public health programs, or state-funded assistance programs involving benefits determination or compliance reviews.
- Experience maintaining accurate data in case management or eligibility systems, including documenting determinations and updating client demographics.
- Experience communicating with applicants, partner agencies, or community organizations to explain program requirements, resolve incomplete applications, and support outreach or training efforts.
- Rate: $20.00/hr.
- Length of Engagement: ~ 1 month contract assignment
- Days/Hours: Monday - Friday (Standard Business Hours; 40 hours/week)
- Location: Austin, TX 78753 (Onsite)
