The Team You Will be Joining

Major Duties
- Welcome 40 to 50 walk-in visitors daily, respond to phone inquiries, and provide information on environmental permits and regulatory programs.
- Enter permit applications, track licenses, and process enforcement activities using specialized agency software.
- Manage front-office administrative logistics including sorting incoming mail, handling correspondence, and processing bank deposits by 3:00 PM.
- De-escalate challenging customer situations with professionalism, empathy, and clear communication.
- At least one year of administrative support, data entry, or public-facing customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort learning new regulatory database systems.
- Proven track record of handling high-volume customer interactions and resolving client issues calmly.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in record-keeping and financial processing.
- Rate: $22.50/hour
- Contract: 6-Month Term (August 17, 2026 – February 17, 2027) with potential to convert to FTE
- Worksite Location: Santa Fe, NM
- Onsite/Hybrid/Remote: Onsite (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Other key details: Dedicated staff parking provided; 1-hour lunch break (12:00 PM – 1:00 PM)
