The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in our Gallatin, TN office. This role will support day-to-day accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and Bill.com, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well in an in-office team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently using QuickBooks and Bill.com
- Prepare and process payments (ACH, checks, and electronic payments)
- Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable records
- Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions and payment status
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
- Perform general administrative and accounting support tasks
What You Bring:
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Bill.com (required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
