Position Overview:
The Family Ministry Coordinator plays a vital role in the smooth and effective operation of all Family Ministry programs. This position supports both Family Ministry teams by ensuring Sunday mornings run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
Sunday Morning Support:
- Provide on-site assistance for Family Ministry programming.
- Manage check-in systems and weekly attendance reports.
- Receive and manage food deliveries for Sunday morning events.
- Provide hands-on help for all Faith Milestone events.
- Sunday evening support for Student Ministry including any tech assistance
Administrative and Registration Support:
- Create, edit, and maintain registrations for Family Ministry events.
- Proofread and test registration forms for accuracy and functionality.
- Become a champion in TouchPoint, Asana, EMS, and other Peachtree Church Systems.
- Manage these systems for the Family Ministry team.
- Facilitate all background checks for volunteers (including checking referrals)
Facility and Hospitality Oversight:
- Conduct daily checks for EMS (Event Management System) service requests, ensuring all rooms are properly set and prepared.
- Attend weekly Hospitality Meetings to confirm event setups are accurate and complete.
- Rotate and maintain library resources, including refreshing books and toys for families.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and relational skills with families, staff, and volunteers.
- Comfortable using and troubleshooting technology, including check-in systems and database management.
- Flexible, proactive, and ready to step in where needed on busy Sundays and during special events.
- Previous experience in ministry, education, or event coordination is a plus.
- Must be able to carry/lift 30 pounds
