Position Summary:
Peachtree Catering and Events, is a catering and event production firm in Radnor, Pennsylvania. Prep Cook must work with efficiency, professionalism, awareness & initiative. In this role, they will learn to prepare foods from various cuisines, use seasonal and local ingredients, and become part of a lively family-oriented operation. Peachtree caters to an expansive clientele at four exclusive venues as well as off-premise catering events. This position will be for someone interested in broadening their cooking skills and learning closely from a privately owned catering operation.

Responsibilities
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces
- Prepares food items to specified recipes and standards
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Maintains overall cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
- Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies
- Maintain kitchen and workplace cleanliness through all properties and offsite kitchens
- Responsible for trash, recycling, and compost collection and implementation
- Receive and rotate food products
- Communicates effectively with peers and Sous Chef and Executive Chef to prevent duplication of efforts and to make sure work is up to Peachtree Standards.
- Asks questions about recipes and processes when uncertain
- Works as part of a team to efficiently and effectively achieve a common goal
