Responsibilities
- Cultivate relationships with clients to understand their event needs and provide tailored solutions that maximize revenue through upselling and strategic marketing.
- Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue setup, catering arrangements, contracts, and vendor negotiations.
- Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring cost control while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Oversee the entire events management process from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up, ensuring seamless execution.
- Collaborate with sales, catering, banquet staff, and vendors to deliver exceptional guest services and hospitality experiences.
- Implement innovative event marketing strategies to attract new clients and promote upcoming events.
- Maintain detailed records of contracts, client communications, and event logistics using organizational tools for smooth operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in event planning, hospitality, restaurant or hotel environments, or banquet management.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to upsell services and enhance revenue opportunities.
- Familiarity with TPP or other catering sales helpful
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Knowledge of budgeting processes, contracts, catering arrangements, and event marketing techniques.
- Familiarity with guest services standards and hospitality best practices to ensure outstanding customer experiences.
- Prior experience in fundraising or guest services roles is a plus; a background in restaurant or hotel operations is highly valued.
