Pay Details: $69.87 per hour

What You’ll Do
As a Systems Engineer, You Will
- Collaborate with industry partners to assess and improve the performance of the Ballistic Missile Defense System.
- Evaluate systems across various scenarios and architectures to optimize mission effectiveness.
- Develop and refine modeling, simulation, and analysis tools to address evolving threats.
- Support integration, requirements management, and system architecture development.
- Lead trade studies and performance analyses to define technical solutions.
- Drive system engineering integration, testing, and analysis approaches.
- Utilize tools such as CAMEO, DOORS, MATLAB, Python, and JAVA to support mission-critical analysis.
- Execute and document integration/test activities while recommending process improvements.
- Work 100% onsite at one of the listed locations, collaborating closely with experts across engineering domains.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems engineering (e.g., systems design, architecture, integration, requirements, or test).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- This position requires a security clearance, and candidates are required to be U.S. Citizens.
- 4 years of related experience or advanced degree with equivalent background.
- Knowledge of DoD and missile defense command and control systems.
- Experience in system analysis, capability assessments, and iterative product development using Agile practices.
- Hands-on experience with verification of requirements and automated test development.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, JAVA, or similar for numerical modeling or tool development.
- Familiarity with MBSE tools such as CAMEO, DOORS, or System Architect.
- Bachelor’s degree and 9 or more years of related experience,
- Master’s degree with 7 or more years of related experience, or
- PhD with 4 or more years of related experience.
- Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science degree must be from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
