Pay Details: $54.00 to $57.00 per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Technical Analyst to join our team in Kinston, NC. In this high-impact role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and safety of aerospace products and processes. You’ll interface across departments and functions, applying your expertise to drive root cause investigations, reduce defects, and champion continuous improvement.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Implement and improve quality systems, processes, and testing equipment to ensure product reliability and safety
- Analyze contract requirements, product specifications, and design documentation
- Conduct rigorous testing of products, processes, and measurement systems
- Ensure proper configuration management throughout production cycles
- Participate in design and product reviews, ensuring inspectability and compliance
- Support and lead the implementation of corrective actions and root cause resolutions
- Interface with suppliers, customers, internal teams, and regulatory agencies to ensure quality compliance
- Apply statistical methodologies to monitor and improve process capability
- Lead and track cross-functional RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) teams
- Design, program, and implement a fully functional RCCA application
What You Bring to the Role:
- 7–10 years of experience in quality engineering or technical analysis
- Demonstrated experience in root cause problem solving and cross-functional team leadership
- Strong understanding of aerospace quality standards and requirements
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and product lifecycle management
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills
- Must be able to work on-site and support any assigned shift
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- Experience developing RCCA systems or tools
- Local candidates strongly preferred
- $110/day per diem available to qualified candidates living 100 miles from the worksite
