As an Emergency Dispatch Specialist, you will be at the center of a fast-paced, 24/7/365 operation that supports Security and Fire Operations, including Emergency Medical Services. This position is full-time and operates on a rotating schedule with variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will serve as a vital communications lifeline, managing and coordinating responses during urgent and high-pressure situations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering and entering emergency calls with precision and professionalism
- Dispatching and monitoring multiple fire and security radio channels with moderate to high volume
- Providing approved Prearrival Instructions based on established protocols
- Making timely and accurate notifications as required
- Working collaboratively within a strong team environment
- Supporting training initiatives and helping refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Receiving in-house Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) training
- Upholding excellent attendance and delivering empathetic, customer focused service
- Handling high stress situations with composure and teamwork
- Accurately documenting real?time information within Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems
- Making critical decisions under pressure
- 1 years of experience as an emergency dispatcher within an ECC/PSAP or in a related role in Security & Fire Protection or Emergency Medical Services
- 1 years of experience multitasking in a crisis driven, team oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience performing responsibilities similar to those described above
- High school diploma/GED and at least 1 year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
