In this role, you’ll design and develop the electrical controls that drive complex production assembly equipment. From PLC programming to HMI development and system integration, your work will directly influence efficiency, quality, and innovation across manufacturing operations used by customers worldwide.
What You’ll Do Day To Day
- Create electrical schematics for production assembly equipment
- Develop and program PLCs for automated assembly systems
- Design and build Human Machine Interface (HMI) screens
- Integrate production equipment with vision systems, test equipment, and robotic systems
- Design pneumatic control systems for assembly equipment
- Process engineering change orders for existing production equipment
- Assemble prototype production assembly equipment
- Troubleshoot and debug electrical, control, and automation issues
- Provide technical support to production teams and other facilities
- Select and specify electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across assembly operations
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Preferred fields: Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with PLC programming and industrial automation
- HMI development experience
- Manufacturing or assembly equipment background
- Experience integrating robots, vision systems, or test equipment
