The Senior Solutions / Technical / Business Architect serves as the enterprise technical lead responsible for guiding solution architecture, technology strategy, and platform modernization initiatives within a complex federal mission environment. This role provides strategic and operational leadership across portfolio, program, and enterprise architecture activities, ensuring technology solutions align with mission objectives, business priorities, operational requirements, and long-term modernization goals.
The Architect will work closely with executive leadership, program teams, engineers, and stakeholders to evaluate current-state environments, define future-state architectures, and develop scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions across diverse platforms and systems.
This role requires a strong multi-platform architect with expertise in enterprise modernization, systems integration, platform consolidation, cloud technologies, low-code solutions, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business solutions and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise architecture, solutions architecture, technical architecture, or systems engineering within large-scale enterprise IT environments.
- Experience supporting complex federal, mission-critical, or highly regulated technology environments.
- Minimum 10 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise technology solutions across multiple platforms and architectures.
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise modernization, platform consolidation, systems integration, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Experience evaluating and classifying application portfolios based on business capability, performance, scalability, security, and operational value.
- Experience analyzing current-state application inventories and developing future-state architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies.
- Experience collaborating with enterprise architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and business teams to support architecture planning, implementation, governance, and lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, hybrid environments, API integrations, and enterprise interoperability frameworks.
- Experience conducting architectural design reviews, technical walkthroughs, and solution assessments for executive and technical stakeholders.
- Proven expertise in IT strategy, enterprise systems engineering, and emerging technology adoption across mixed-lifecycle environments.
- Experience defining scalable solutions that align business operations, mission objectives, security requirements, and technical capabilities.
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with AWS cloud technologies and enterprise cloud migration strategies.
- Experience with platforms and technologies such as Palantir, ServiceNow, AI-enabled tools, automation frameworks, and low-code/no-code solutions.
- Experience supporting federal modernization or enterprise transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery models, DevSecOps, and enterprise governance frameworks.
- Experience working within security-sensitive or mission-focused operational environments.
- Relevant architecture certifications preferred (AWS Solutions Architect, TOGAF, SAFe, Azure Architect, etc.).
- Active federal clearance or ability to obtain one preferred.
