What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Production Machinist -- Precision Components position at PBC Linear Bearings?

Your Impact- Operate CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality machined parts.
- Hold tight tolerances by performing in-process checks and documenting results.
- Follow safety and quality procedures every time—no shortcuts.
- Track production, tooling changes, and inspection data accurately.
- Help keep machines and supplies in top condition through routine care.
- 3 years of hands-on machinist experience with CNC mills and lathes.
- Six months or more of related experience or formal training.
- Comfort reading blueprints or a strong foundation in blueprint basics.
- Skilled with O.D. micrometers, calipers, and plug gauges.
- Math fluency with whole numbers (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Reliable teammate who communicates well and needs minimal supervision.
- Adaptable to frequent changes in procedures and responsibilities.
- Physically able to frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
- Visual acuity (close and color vision; ability to adjust focus) and manual dexterity for precise work.
- Willingness to follow all company policies and procedures.
