Direct the research, testing, verification and validation of new products from bench top to production.Maintain documentation of regulatory compliance, including label approvals, and laboratory analysis demonstrating compliance. Work directly with the Operations Manager regarding HACCP.Conduct annual system review of SQF Program, Food Safety Pland, and Prerequisite programs, including verifications and validation activities. Stay abreastof FDA & USDA regulations and policies, SQF standards, industry trends and new technologies, bringing recommendations to manangement.Food safety.Facilitate internal, customer, and thrird party audits and direct corrective action plan. Determine application & methodology for analytical microbiology, or bacteriological testing protocols, and implement and direct quality assurance in protocol. Troubleshoot/ direct day to day activities within the QC department.
