Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, managing inventory, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our distribution center.
1st shift 6am to 2:30pm
Pay starts at $21 an hour
MUST have experience with computers
Sit down Forklift experience required

pay starts at $21 dollars an hour with opportunity if growth, pay increases and bonuses throughout the year.
Duties
- Safely operate sit-down forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Perform order picking using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to fulfill shipping requirements
- Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in shipping & receiving processes
- Utilize pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other heavy equipment for materials handling and storage
- Conduct routine inspections of forklifts and heavy equipment to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning
- Assist with inventory management by organizing stock, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records
- Support warehouse operations by participating in shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or distribution setting
- Knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, order picking, and materials handling techniques
- Familiarity with heavy equipment such as cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
- Understanding of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse safety protocols
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting basic equipment issues
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control
- Strong physical ability to perform heavy lifting and repetitive tasks safely
- Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not required
- Construction or heavy equipment operation background is advantageous
