Key Responsibilities ๐
- Spearhead materials development projects for metal and plastic packaging solutions
- Lead experimental design and oversee trial stages from lab to production
- Analyze comprehensive data sets for material performance insights
- Provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve client and production challenges
- Draft detailed analytical reports
- Foster supplier partnerships for innovative materials
- Ensure compliance with industry standards
- Travel to production and supplier sites (approximately 30% travel required)
Required Qualifications ๐ผ
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field
- 5 years of experience in polymer sciences or materials development
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing and working with plastics, particularly polyethylene and polypropylene
- Strong project management capabilities
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to travel domestically (some international travel may be required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications
