Machine Operator - Entry Level | 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 12-Hour Shifts

Looking for a steady, long-term manufacturing job with room to grow? A leading electronics materials manufacturer in Itasca, IL is hiring Machine Operators on 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift, Monday through Friday with weekends off. These are new, permanent positions, not seasonal work. Entry-level candidates are welcome.

How Temp-to-Hire Works

You’ll start as a contract employee through Pave Talent. Once you’ve proven yourself on the job, you’ll have the opportunity to be hired on as a permanent employee with the company. The goal is a long-term career, not a short-term assignment.

Shifts Available (Monday – Friday)

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM ( 10%)
• 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

What You’ll Do

• Run production equipment, like punch presses, following standard work instructions
• Load and unload materials, components and finished product
• Inspect parts to make sure they meet quality standards
• Fill out production records accurately
• Help with changeovers and basic machine setup
• Keep your work area clean, organized and safe
  

What We’re Looking For

• 0–2 years of manufacturing, production, or related experience
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Basic math and measuring skills
• Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 40 pounds
• Comfortable working around noise, dust and changing temperatures
• Reliable, on time, and serious about safety
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
