This Hispanic-owned Certified NYS MBE/DBE firm combines innovative design thinking with collaborative problem-solving to deliver award-winning projects for both public agencies and private clients.
As Architect for their Manhattan office, you'll focus on the technical execution of large-scale urban projects. You'll work alongside experienced project leaders, developing detailed construction documents and coordinating complex building systems while expanding your technical expertise in a supportive, entrepreneurial environment.
What You'll Do:
- Develop detailed construction documents for large-scale urban projects using advanced Revit workflows
- Coordinate architectural design with MEP, structural, and civil engineering disciplines
- Produce technical details, specifications, and material selections for complex building assemblies
- Support code analysis, zoning compliance, and accessibility requirements
- Participate in construction administration and respond to RFIs
- Model building components and systems using current BIM standards
- Collaborate with project managers to meet schedule and quality benchmarks
- Review shop drawings and submittals for technical accuracy
Required Qualifications:
- 6-8 years of architectural experience with technical focus
- Advanced proficiency in current Revit software (demonstrated through recent projects)
- Strong technical detailing skills and understanding of building systems integration
- Experience with large-scale projects requiring coordination across multiple disciplines
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from accredited program
- Portfolio demonstrating technical documentation and detailing capabilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- New York State architectural license or actively pursuing licensure
- Experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam, or other BIM coordination tools
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and building performance
Salary : $100,000 - $125,000
