Responsibilities:
- Review job costs for completeness and compliance before closing
- Post journal entries and transactions necessary for job closure
- Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
- Enter transactions to maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with AP to process overhead expenses and transactions
- Manage purchase orders and coordinate material draw payments
- Communicate effectively with vendors and team members
- Other duties as assigned to support financial operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- 3 years of Accounts Payable experience preferred
- Prior experience in construction job costing a plus
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong Excel skills for spreadsheet optimization
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and service-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
