Monday - Friday

The Trimcapper is responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing signage components to meet production drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements prior to final release. This role ensures assemblies are completed accurately and efficiently by interpreting blueprints, installing electrical and LED components, and using standard manufacturing tools and methods. The Trimcapper works closely with Manufacturing and Quality to support production flow, address issues on the floor, and ensure completed assemblies are production ready.
Essential Functions
- Use hand tools, glue, and power tools to secure parts in place
- Assemble and attach functional and cosmetic hardware to assemblies using magnets and glue
- Perform and monitor functional tests, following procedures and design requirements
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times
- Ability to handle and lift-up to 35 lbs as needed for specific job functions
- May have to work with or around electrical equipment
- Ability to stand 100% of the work schedule
- May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling
- Prior experience using hand and power tools
- Must have knowledge of using a measuring tape
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, assembly prints
- Must have basic mathematic skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
