Position Summary: We are seeking an EDI Integration Specialist to lead client onboarding and operational process design within our logistics and fulfillment network. This role translates complex client requirements into scalable workflows across our Warehouse Management (WMS), Order Management (OMS), and Transportation Systems (TMS). You will act as the critical link between IT, operations, and external partners to ensure seamless data flow and long-term operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration & Onboarding: Lead the end-to-end process design for new client integrations, including system mapping, data flows, and EDI/API connectivity (AS2, SFTP, REST APIs).
- Workflow Translation: Convert client business requirements into detailed operational workflows, system configurations, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Technical Support: Manage trading partner onboarding, mapping, testing, and compliance validation. Provide production support for document flow, data transformation, and billing issues.
- Process Optimization: Analyze end-to-end processes—including order intake, inventory (846), shipping (856), and returns—to identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Serve as the primary bridge between clients, technical teams, and warehouse operations to resolve integration issues and ensure alignment with SLAs.
- Testing & Stabilization: Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and post-launch stabilization to ensure go-live readiness and operational accuracy.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain process maps, training materials, and technical specifications for all integrations.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5–8 years as an EDI Specialist or in a similar role within 3PL, e-commerce fulfillment, or distribution environments.

Technical Expertise:
- Deep knowledge of ANSI X12 transactions (850, 856, 846, 940, 943, 944, 945, 947, 997).
- Proficiency in AS2, SFTP, FTP, VAN, REST APIs, XML, and JSON.
- Experience integrating EDI with WMS, TMS, ERPs, and SaaS logistics platforms.
- Operational Knowledge: Strong understanding of warehouse operations, supply chain logistics, and project management for client implementations.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical problem-solving, client-facing communication, and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Information Systems, or a related field.

The employee will be required to adhere to a business casual dress code.
