Patterson Companies is seeking a driven Senior Financial Analyst to join our Strategic Accounts Division. In this critical role, you will be a key player in shaping our financial strategy, delivering the actionable insights and internal reporting that drive our executive decision-making. You will take ownership of month-end financial reporting, act as a vital partner to our Regional Dental Service Organization (DSO) and Institutional Business and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.

- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Lead the compilation, reconciliation, and delivery of month-end sales and margin reporting for Regional DSO and Institutional customers.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with division leadership to drive the annual budget and ongoing forecasting processes for the Regional DSO and Institutional Business units.
- P&L Ownership: Serve as the primary finance lead on P&L kick-off calls, building out comprehensive P&Ls for all new and existing DSO account bids.
- Data Translation: Analyze customer purchasing trends, product performance, and industry data using SAP and BI tools, converting complex data into clear, actionable business intelligence.
- Business Partnership: Correlate financial performance with overall business strategies by closely monitoring key operating metrics.
- Process Improvement: Maintain meticulous documentation for all reporting processes and continually seek ways to optimize financial systems.
- General Support: Perform other ad-hoc financial duties and project work as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a closely related field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, corporate finance, or business analysis.
- Exceptional analytical skills with rigorous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically utilizing complex functions and modeling in Excel, as well as Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Deep understanding of core business processes and hands-on experience in financial variance analysis.
- Proven ability to proactively troubleshoot and resolve problems within complex systems with minimal supervision.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
- A collaborative mindset with a strong willingness to learn, share knowledge, and elevate the broader finance team.
Salary : $85,500 - $106,800
