Residential Energy Auditor

We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Residential Energy Auditor to assess energy usage and recommend improvements for single-family and multi-family homes. This role involves performing on-site energy assessments, conducting diagnostic testing, and preparing comprehensive reports aligned with utility rebate programs (e.g., NYSERDA EmPower , utility-sponsored weatherization, etc.).

Key Responsibilities

Conduct on-site energy audits of residential properties

Perform diagnostic testing: Blower door, combustion safety, infrared scanning,

Collect detailed data on insulation, HVAC systems, air sealing, and appliances

Educate homeowners on energy-saving opportunities and incentive programs

Ensure all audits comply with local, state, and program standards

Collaborate with project managers
