Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Hardscape Installer / Laborer to join our crew. In this hands-on role, you'll assist in the installation of beautiful and durable hardscape features for residential properties. This is outdoor physical work that rewards attention to detail, teamwork, and pride in craftsmanship. No two projects are the same—help build patios, walls, and outdoor living areas that homeowners love for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in site preparation, including excavation, grading, base material installation, and compaction
• Install interlocking pavers, natural stone, segmental retaining wall blocks, timber walls, and related features
• Build retaining walls, patios, walkways, steps, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, and other hardscape elements
• Handle materials safely and efficiently (lifting pavers, blocks, gravel, sand, etc.)
• Operate basic tools and equipment (plate compactors, saws, levels, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc.)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
• Follow foreman instructions and company quality standards to ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations
• Help with occasional loading/unloading of trucks and material transport

Requirements

• Previous experience in hardscaping, landscaping, masonry, construction, or outdoor labor (1 years preferred but willing to train motivated candidates)
• Physically fit and able to perform strenuous outdoor work in various weather conditions (lift 50–80 lbs regularly, stand/bend/kneel for extended periods)
• Reliable transportation to job sites and our shop/yard
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team-player mentality
• Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
• Valid driver's license preferred (for potential tool/equipment transport)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening if required

Preferred Qualifications (not required)

• Experience with paver installation, retaining walls, or segmental block systems
• Familiarity with tools like skid steers, mini-excavators, or power saws
• ICPI or NCMA certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Basic knowledge of drainage, base preparation, and leveling
