Salary - $30,000 - $33,750
Educational Requirements: Community support associate shall be eighteen (18) years of age or older, have a high school diploma, a general equivalency diploma (GED), or qualifying documentation from a comparable educational entity.
Duties/Responsibilities: The Community Support Associate will support activities associated with positive skill building such as emotional regulation skills, crisis coping skills and developing and enhancing interpersonal skills. The Community Support Associate will assist client in accessing and utilizing community resources and transporting when necessary. Consumers will be treated with respect and courtesy, appointments will be timely, phone calls returned promptly, and requests for information or services will be responded to in a timely manner.
Experience Required: Community support associate will have one (1) year of full-time experience working with individuals who receive services for treatment of a mental health disorder. Shall successfully complete within six (6) months of hire the department approved training program.
