Mon - Fri 5am -1:30pmThe Production Technician may perform any of the following operationsMolds parts using a compression pressHand splices preformsUses the auto-splicer to prepare preformsMaintains part tubsReturns unused compounded material to mixing department Inspects molds throughout shift and cleans in accordance with our quality policyCarefully examine finished or semi-finished rubber products for defects, ensuring they meet quality standards.Buffing, cleaning, or other processes to finalize the appearance and functionality of rubber parts.Prepare materials, including cutting, shaping, splicing, or fitting components before or after finishing.Inspect and identify defective pieces for repair or scrapping and monitor product quality to detect any defects or irregularities.Operate various machines and equipment, such as grinding lathes or cutting machines, to perform finishing tasks.Primary ResponsibilitiesFollows and signs work ordersIf required, completes work order changesFollows all safety rulesAdheres to the site Quality PolicyQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent experienceManufacturing experience preferred but may consider other backgrounds for entry level positionWillingness to learn or strong command of blueprint reading including an understanding of engineering drawings and understanding/interpreting customer specificationsMust have working knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used for machiningMust have strong work ethic, professional attitude, be detail oriented as well as reliable Company DescriptionPathway Group is a Recruitment and Staffing service dedicated to the Manufacturing Industry.
