Pathway Caring for Children is seeking a dynamic and community-driven Foster Parent Recruiter to lead outreach and recruitment efforts across Northeast Ohio, with a focus on Cuyahoga County.
In this role, you will build relationships, engage the community, and inspire individuals and families to become foster parents—helping children find safe, stable, and supportive homes.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement recruitment and outreach strategies to increase foster parent inquiries
- Plan and lead community events, information sessions, and outreach activities
- Build partnerships with schools, faith-based organizations, and community groups
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and messaging
- Track and analyze recruitment data to improve results
- Represent Pathway at community events and networking opportunities
- Engage and inspire individuals through relationship-building and communication
- Work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends
Compensation
$22–$24 per hour, based on experience.
Work Location Requirement
It is suggested that candidates reside in or be able to regularly travel throughout Cuyahoga County and surrounding Northeast Ohio counties.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Social Services, or related field—or equivalent experience
- Experience in sales, outreach, recruiting, or community engagement preferred
- Strong communication, public speaking, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Northeast Ohio
- Flexibility for evening and weekend events
- Cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed understanding
