About the Role:
As Global Sales Director, you will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive sales strategy for the OEM aviation market, driving sustainable revenue growth and market share expansion. You will oversee the full sales pipeline, from prospecting and qualification to contract negotiation and closing, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial targets. Working closely with senior leadership, you will provide accurate revenue forecasts and insights that inform strategic decisions and investment priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the aviation sector that delivers revenue growth, margin improvement, and market penetration targets.
- Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals, ensuring consistent execution of best-practice sales processes.
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with key accounts and strategic partners, acting as the primary executive contact for major aviation customers.
- Oversee pipeline development and management, ensuring robust lead generation, qualification, and progression through each stage of the sales cycle.
- Direct and participate in high-value contract negotiations, structuring complex deals and driving them to successful closure.
- Produce accurate revenue forecasts and sales budgets, monitoring performance against targets and implementing corrective actions where needed.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to align go-to-market activities, customer solutions, and service delivery with sales objectives.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies and identify new business opportunities in the aviation industry.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Aviation Management, or a related field.
- Proven track record in a senior sales leadership role, with responsibility for strategy, team leadership, and revenue delivery.
- Demonstrated experience selling into OEMS in the aviation industry.
- Strong expertise in strategic sales planning and execution across complex, consultative sales cycles.
- Hands-on experience managing and optimizing sales pipelines, including use of CRM and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at C-level and senior decision-maker level within key accounts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with a results-focused and commercially astute mindset.
Salary : $150,000 - $170,000
