We are seeking a dedicated IT Technician to join our technology support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, managing computer systems, and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations across the organization. Duties
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
- Manage computer hardware components, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Assist users with desktop support tasks such as software installation, configuration, and updates.
- Maintain and support IT infrastructure including LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and other network components.
- Utilize IT service management tools to track incidents and requests.
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity issues related to LAN/WAN environments.
- Support security measures by configuring and maintaining firewalls and VPN connections.
- Perform software troubleshooting for applications such as Microsoft Office suite and other enterprise tools.
- Assist with help desk operations by resolving user inquiries efficiently and professionally.
- Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records of IT assets.
Skills
- Strong technical support skills with experience in computer management and hardware troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in operating systems including Windows and Linux.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN/WAN, VPNs, DHCP, DNS, and firewall configurations.
- Experience with software troubleshooting for various applications including Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to communicate effectively with end-users at all levels of technical understanding.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
