What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recipient Services Representative position at Pathfinders, inc and Careers?
Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare correspondence for electronic files that pertain to collection processes
- Communicate with pension recipients, and banks to set up repayment agreements, collection letters and acknowledgements
- Assist in recouping federal income tax overpayments;
- Process direct deposit information
- Assist in responding to 1099 phone calls and preparation of 1099 forms
- Process tax information and address changes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree is a plus
- Prior data entry experience is required
- Professional and self-motivated
- Takes direction and re-direction with minimum disruption
- Manages the workload assigned and informs the supervisor of the status of work assigned
- Excellent communication
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Suites
