Director of Residential
Pathfinder Village is seeking an experienced and mission‑driven Director of Residential Services to lead and enhance our residential programs supporting individuals with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities. This leadership role oversees day‑to‑day operations, ensures person‑centered service delivery, and drives quality, compliance, and program effectiveness across both 24/7 and non-24/7 residential settings.
The Director will supervise and develop residential team leaders and staff, collaborate with internal departments and external partners, and ensure residents have access to meaningful, enriching, and inclusive experiences. Key responsibilities include regulatory compliance, budget oversight, staff recruitment and development, incident management, and continuous evaluation of residential environments. The Director also provides administrative oversight for noncertified residential settings, including Camp Pathfinder and Otsego Academy.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication and relationship‑building skills, a thorough understanding of NYS and federal regulations, experience in program management, and a passion for supporting individuals in achieving independence, health, and belonging. This position reports to the Chief Program Officer.
Qualifications:
BA/BS in social services or related field
Certification as QIDP or eligibility to obtain
Valid NYS Driver’s License
The annual salary starts at $75,000 and is commensurate with experience.
