Job Summary
Our client, a Japanese company is looking for a Purchaser. This role is responsible for coordinating procurement-related communication between our overseas offices and domestic suppliers to support customer requests. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Japanese, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a team-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate sourcing activities and negotiate pricing with suppliers
- Enter supplier quotations and related data accurately into internal systems
- Place purchase orders and manage delivery follow-ups
- Provide aftercare support, including handling claims and issue resolution
- Maintain email communication with overseas offices, suppliers, and internal teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including visiting supplier facilities as needed
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese (business level)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness and ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tasks
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
