Position: International Logistics Coordinator – Customer Service / Freight Forwarding

Compensation: $60,000–$100,000/year for Full-Time, depending on experience

Company Overview

A well-established international logistics company is seeking an International Logistics Coordinator to join its Phoenix-area team. This position supports international import and export shipments and works closely with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, trucking companies, airlines, ocean carriers, and other logistics partners. Candidates with 2 years of experience working for a logistics-related company are encouraged to apply. Freight forwarding experience is highly preferred, but candidates from trucking, warehousing, airlines, ocean carriers, and other logistics environments will also be considered.

Position Summary

The International Logistics Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for customers and logistics partners while coordinating international freight shipments from origin through delivery. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in the logistics industry and is comfortable handling shipment coordination, customer communication, freight quotations, shipment tracking, and day-to-day operational issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
• Coordinate import and export shipments to ensure smooth and timely transportation.
• Prepare and provide freight quotations to customers.
• Coordinate with customers, freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses, trucking companies, and other logistics partners.
• Monitor shipment status and provide updates to customers.
• Support issue resolution related to international freight shipments.
• Maintain accurate shipment and customer records.
• Provide general customer service and operational support as needed.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with a logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing, airline, ocean carrier, or related logistics company.
• Freight forwarding experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with a freight forwarder will receive the highest consideration.
• Experience with warehouses, trucking companies, airlines, or ocean carriers may also be considered.
• Supply chain or logistics experience gained only within a manufacturing company does not meet the experience requirement.
• Knowledge of international cargo freight and import/export operations.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Mandarin Chinese language skills are a plus, but are not required.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
  
  

Work Schedule

Full-Time

• Flexible start time between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM.
• Eight-hour workday, including a one-hour lunch break.
• Hybrid schedule available once training is completed.
• Approximately 2 days per week in the office after onboarding.
• During the initial training period, employees may be expected to work in the office approximately 3–4 days per week.
  
  

Part-Time

Part-time arrangements may also be considered for qualified candidates.

• Minimum 4 days per week.
• Minimum 5 hours per day.
• Flexible start time between 7:00 AM and 10:00 AM.
