A growing manufacturer is seeking a Japanese-bilingual HR Generalist to join its U.S. team.
The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. This position covers the Office Manager role and will oversee the general administrative function and activities of the office.
The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years of experience in the HR field and possess business-level Japanese language skills.

HR Generalist (Summary)
- Coordinates compliance training, certifications, and work assessments.
- Manages full-cycle recruitment, including interviews and onboarding.
- Conducts background checks and ensures employment eligibility.
- Supports HR programs: payroll, benefits, leave, performance, safety, and employee relations.
- Responds to HR inquiries and ensures compliance with employment laws.
- Stays updated on HR best practices and legal changes.
Office Manager (Summary)
- Oversees office operations, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory.
- Manages vendor relationships, leases, and office safety protocols.
- Provides admin support: scheduling, travel arrangements, and file management.
- Coordinates office renovations and layout changes.
- Supports communication and interpretation for executives.
- Assists with commercial insurance renewals and basic finance data entry.
Requirements：
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration required. Master’s degree in Business Administration preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the Human Resources or related field required. Expertized knowledge in one of HR functions, such as Payroll, Benefit Administration, Training, etc. is highly preferred.
- SHRM certification preferred.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese is required to effectively communicate with the Japan headquarters.
