Position: Business Development
Location: Dallas, TX
Report to: President
Travel Required: 30%
Salary: $100K (DOE) Bonus
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the President, this position is responsible for the management of the lifecycle of the Company’s operational products. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, prioritizing product and customer requirements, as well as sales and purchasing support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met for the full array of Company products in the package market. This position is required to oversee and participate in the spectrum of customer service. Customer relations, technical coordination, problem resolution and communications between the Company, customer, and vendor are important components.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Works with President and coordinates sales of the vast array of tapes for various applications.
- First main target is the package application.
- Works together with other sales staff in developing overall sales strategy for the products.
- Through a variety of industry sources, receives information on possible new markets for the vast array of Company products, in the package market
- Pursues new sales and secures existing sales by telephone/electronic transmission by
- communicating with the Japan HQ representatives and domestic purchasing agents.
- Examines, interprets, and monitors prospective and current client financial viability in accordance with Company policy.
- Monitors and addresses, in coordination with Accounting Department, accounts receivable issues in accordance with Company policy.
- Visits both potential and existing customers; follows up on sales leads for potential customers and reviews account activity and any product problems with existing customers.
- Participates in industry trade shows.

- Experience building strong relationships with key stakeholders and product development teams across the global organization
- Have learning agility and willingness to learn new skills in business development and have the sprit to challenge new business
- Knowledge of the package market
- Experience to work for the package tape manufactures or distributors
- Knowledge of chemical materials is preferred
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, preferably Business Management or Engineering (asking for knowledge of chemical materials), or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of sales or business development experience (chemical materials or package industry preferred but not required)
