Overview

This role is a strong entry point into manufacturing accounting within a well-established Japanese company expanding in the U.S. You’ll gain hands-on experience in Accounts Payable while building exposure to broader accounting functions tied directly to production and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high-volume vendor invoices (raw materials, supplies, services)
• Perform three-way matching (PO, receiving, invoice)
• Partner with Purchasing/Receiving to resolve discrepancies
• Maintain vendor master data and AP records
• Execute payment runs (checks, ACH, wires)
• Reconcile vendor statements and manage AP aging
• Support cash flow planning and working capital tracking
• Assist with month-end/year-end close and journal entries
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Support reporting, audits, and documentation
• Contribute to process improvements
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2–5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
• Strong Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment
• ERP experience required
• Excel proficiency (pivot tables, lookups)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Eagerness to grow within a structured, team-oriented environment
