Paso Robles Joint Unified School District is seeking Paraeducators - Registered Behavior Technicians PCN #260158 - Glen Speck School PCN #260104 - Virginia Peterson School Under the direction of the Special Education Director, site administrator, and BCBA, the Paraeducator - Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) assists a certificated teacher in reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of Special Education students; assists in the preparation of instructional materials and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEP’S); provides routine clerical support. Train others and provide proper interventions to change or replace unwanted behaviors following a behavior intervention plan.

- High School diploma or equivalent required - Pass a basic skills paraeducator examination in reading, writing and mathematics. This test is offered by the district as well as SLOCOE. - Minimum of three year of experience working with special education students in a classroom or clinical setting - Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certificate
