Responsibilities
- Perform semi-automated wheel alignments on diverse vehicle makes and models, including standard passenger cars and light trucks.
- Use automotive diagnostic tools and alignment equipment to accurately measure and adjust vehicle suspension and steering components.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot alignment-related issues effectively.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical problems related to powertrain, engine systems, and suspension components.
- Assist with general vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotation, brake inspections, and minor repairs as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of all alignment procedures, diagnostics, and repairs performed using digital systems.
- Follow safety protocols for manual handling, heavy lifting, and the use of power tools while maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a focus on wheel alignment or suspension systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, and powertrain components.
- Familiarity with automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools such as scan tools or alignment machines.
- Experience working with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and team members.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking.
