Senior Accountant

In this role you will analyze costs associated with production, including materials, labor, and overhead. You will be responsible for financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting to deliver comprehensive insights that drive efficiency, profitability, and growth. Responsibilities:

• Participates in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist with the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Creates sophisticated financial models to forecast future revenues, expenses, profitability, and the potential outcomes of business decisions.
• Analyzes manufacturing costs, including direct materials, direct labor, and overhead, to determine product costs and explain variances between standard costs and actual costs.
• Helps determine overhead and labor costs, helps maintain correct labor coding in the accounting system, and ensures accuracy of cost information.
• Prepares and analyzes reports on the cost of goods sold, gross margin, percentage of completion, and other relevant financial metrics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• Three plus years experience.
• Public Accounting experience.
• Must have experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.
• Experience in a manufacturing or construction environment highly preferred.
