We’re partnering with a stable, well-established organization in a highly regulated industry to hire a Payroll Specialist to join their team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys owning payroll end-to-end, working in a structured environment, and partnering closely with leadership to ensure accuracy and compliance across a multi-state workforce.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll (330 employees across 16 states)
- Handle a mix of biweekly hourly and monthly salaried payrolls
- Manage payroll audits, reconciliations, and off-cycle adjustments
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Support quarter-end/year-end processes (W-2s, filings, audits)
- Act as a key contact for employee payroll questions and issue resolution
- Work within ADP and BambooHR to maintain accurate payroll data
What They’re Looking For
- Strong multi-state payroll tax knowledge (must-have)
- Experience with ADP required; BambooHR is a plus
- Comfortable working in a deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to partner across teams
