Human Resources Generalist

A growing, employee-first manufacturing company in Southern New Hampshire is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional early in their career who wants broad exposure across HR operations and the opportunity to grow into an HR Manager role long term.

This position supports all core HR functions for a team of approximately 40 employees and works closely with ownership and leadership in a collaborative, family-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll through BambooHR
• Manage onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and employee records
• Support recruiting efforts including screening and interviewing candidates
• Assist with employee relations, coaching, disciplinary processes, and annual reviews
• Maintain HR policies and ensure compliance with employment regulations
• Coordinate workers compensation claims and OSHA-related documentation
• Participate in safety meetings, audits, and strategic planning initiatives
• Represent the company at career fairs and community recruiting events

Qualifications

• 2 years of HR experience required
• Manufacturing environment experience strongly preferred
• Experience with payroll, onboarding, employee relations, and benefits administration
• Strong organizational and communication skills
