Accounting Supervisor
Location: Needham, MA (onsite Monday–Friday)
Compensation: $100K benefits
A well-established, high-end private club is adding to its accounting team and looking for someone who can take ownership of day-to-day operations while working closely with a hands-on Controller. This is a highly visible role in a fast-paced, member-focused environment where attention to detail and professionalism matter.
This is a strong fit for a Senior Accountant ready to step up or a current Accounting Supervisor coming out of hospitality, country club, or service-based environments.

What you’ll be doing
- Oversee full-cycle AP including invoice processing, coding, and weekly check runs
- Manage member billing including dues, fees, and account maintenance
- Review and post daily activity across POS systems (restaurant, retail, events)
- Track and record revenue streams including events, lessons, and pro shop activity
- Handle cash postings (ACH, wires, checks) and GL entries/adjustments
- Support and help drive month-end and year-end close processes
- Respond to member billing inquiries with a high level of service
- Partner with leadership on reporting and special projects
- Supervise and mentor 1 direct report
What they’re looking for
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, ideally within hospitality, club, or service environments
- Strong understanding of day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL)
- Prior experience supervising or mentoring staff is a plus
- Comfortable in a high-touch, customer-facing environment
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities
Nice to have
- Experience with club/hospitality systems (Jonas, club management systems, procurement tools, etc.)
- Prior experience working closely with a Controller or small accounting team
