Job Title: Senior Accountant

Position Summary:
The Senior Accountant plays a critical role within the finance team, managing complex accounting functions and ensuring the integrity of financial reporting. This position leads the monthly close process, maintains compliance with GAAP and internal controls, and provides key financial insights to support strategic decision-making and operational excellence. Experience with NetSuite is strongly preferred to support system-based reporting, reconciliations, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of all financial data.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger in accordance with GAAP.
- Utilize NetSuite to manage financial transactions, reporting, and system-driven process enhancements.
- Support external and internal audits, including preparing documentation and audit schedules.
- Analyze financial statements to identify variances, trends, and opportunities for improvement; communicate findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Reconcile subsidiary accounts, bank statements, and other key balance sheet items.
- Support or lead the implementation and optimization of NetSuite and other accounting system improvements.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses, prepare management reports, and assist with budgeting or forecasting activities as needed.
- Assist with tax filings, payroll-related accounting, and other operational accounting duties.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial insight and guidance to business partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Advanced proficiency with NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial compliance.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
