Job Description
The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating machining equipment to produce precision parts in accordance with engineering drawings and company standards. This role works closely with programmers and engineers to ensure high-quality production, efficient processes, and continuous improvement within the machine shop environment.

5:00AM - 1:30PM
Monday-Friday
Pay
$30.00 - $40.00
Job Duties
• Perform complete machine setups independently, including tooling and offsets
• Analyze job orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements
• Select appropriate machine tools, work holding, cutting tools, speeds, and feed rates
• Operate CNC machines and perform all phases of part production through first article approval
• Change and set tools using probing systems and tool setters
• Perform in-process inspections and maintain accurate quality records
• Utilize gauges, indicators, and inspection tools for precision measurement
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
• Input production data and communicate results to management
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and internal training programs
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and follow preventive maintenance procedures
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with company policies
• Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and team members to meet production goals
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required
• U.S. Person status required (export control compliance)
• Minimum 1 years of experience with Mastercam
• Strong understanding of machine tool clearances, fixture offsets, and cutting tool offsets
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and quality specifications
• Experience with precision measurement tools (gauges, indicators, inspection plates)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work in a loud manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Must be available for overtime and periodic weekend work
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
