Partners Personnel is now hiring Assemblers for a leading client warehouse in the San Luis Obispo area.
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:35pm; Overtime and weekends as needed
Responsibilities of an Assembler:
- Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
- Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.
- Verify specifications by measuring completed component.
- Cut PVC piping to length, prepare, and glue into assemblies.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Use small hand and power tools, and miter-saw
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Basic math skills
- Ability to speak, read, and write basic English
- Ability to follow standard work procedures
- Ability to frequently lift up to 25 lbs
- Ability to stand for duration of shift
