JOB SUMMARY: Oversee and maintain databases containing vendor information and pricing. Conduct regular reporting and comparisons to support data-driven decision-making. Assist in the creation and upkeep of purchasing system, ensuring accuracy and usability. Collaborate with team members & departments on various projects and manage internal purchasing data within the Threadkore
RELATIONSHIPS:
INTERNAL: Collaborate closely with the Purchasing Manager and the data analytics team to support operational objectives. Provide data-driven assistance to purchasing team members, addressing questions and fulfilling requests as needed. Respond to inquiries and create reports for corporate team members and managers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
EXTERNAL: Communicates with vendors and subcontractors to manage and maintain accurate data related to pricing, item creation, and inventory leveling. Ensures clear communication to support data accuracy and consistency across all external partnerships.
Requirement: 1-year experience in Threadkore.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Monthly Base Plan Comparisons to assist managers on viewing monthly pricing changes.
2. Maintaining primary vendors and area base contracts for accurate assignment and pricing.
3. Running various types of reports upon request
4. Creating cost comparisons upon request, when vendor/manufacturers incur an increase/decrease
5. Assist in maintaining the multitude of Purchasing spreadsheets when updating is required
6. Troubleshooting Threadkore/ Worksheet / User error issues from team members.
7. Work with new & existing vendors on maintaining pricing, items and levels.
8. Assist in creating new worksheets/spreadsheets upon request
9. Creating & editing various functions within the system database; including but not limited to Cost Codes, Variances and Projects.
10. Assisting in maintaining various databases withing the system; including but not limited to Item Cost, Takeoff Master, Base Contracts and Options.
11. Assist in companywide data analytics and maintenance.
12. Collaboration with other departments to further the efficiency of the company processes.
